Because of the sudden social changes brought on by covid-19, I began to think a lot about visual symbols.

Over generations of use, but sometimes also suddenly, these symbols can lose their poignancy because the culture to which they

belonged to disappears, no longer needs to express what they stood for or chooses to absolve itself of their meaning.
